FAQs

Can I view the painting/print/product in-person before I buy it?

Yes, I have a stall at various markets in the Hunter Region, you can visit me at one of those! Market dates are listed HERE.

Who owns the Copyright to a painting or photograph I purchase?

All artwork, photographs and content I produce are protected by Copyright, all rights reserved. See my COPYRIGHT notice for more information.

Do you offer a Certificate of Authenticity?

Yes, all original artworks come with a signed certificate of authenticity.

Can you frame my print?

Absolutely! I can either upcycle a frame for you, or organise framing at a professional framer. CONTACT ME for more information.

What do you mean when you say you run an “ethical studio”?

I create in the most ethical and sustainable way I know how, looking after my customers, animals, the planet and myself. Here’s a few examples: All the art supplies I use are professional-grade and archival to ensure artwork will last. Art supplies are vegan and do not contain animal ingredients or tested on animals. I do not use any plastic packaging. Any paper products such as greeting cards and business cards are printed on either recycled or FSC certified paper with vegetable-based inks. Read more about my commitment to running an ethical and sustainable studio HERE.

Do you take commissions?

Whilst I do not take commissions per se, I do consider creating works of a requested subject. The two caveats are:

1) I must be able to take a reference photograph of the subject myself (Australian native flora or fauna, I divide my time between Awabakal or Dunghutti Country); and

2) I create the work on my own direction and timeline.

If you love what I create, you will get first option to purchase the original. Please note, prints will be produced from all work I create, and I always retain Copyright. If there’s a subject I haven’t painted or photographed yet, or you would like to see a variation on a subject I have painted or photographed, feel free to ask!

Can I purchase Non Fungible Tokens (NFTs)?

Yeah, nah! My works are made to be enjoyed as physical pieces, and I will never sell as NFTs. I have blocked that term on my social media comments and messaging too, so don’t even try.

Do you hand make your products?

I sure do! All my art journals, aprons, paintbrush and pencil rolls/cases, pin cushions and wall organisers are handmade, and I also upcycle frames. Prints and greeting cards are all reproduced from original artwork and photos. I take all my own reference photographs for my paintings too.

Where do you ship?

I ship Australia-wide, International shipping is not available (yet!). More information on shipping can be found HERE.
