My market stall began in May 2023 on the Mid North Coast of NSW, and you’d find me at markets anywhere between Bellingen and Harrington. My stall looked very different at the beginning than it does now, I didn’t even have a gazebo for a start, and I hadn’t built up the confidence to sell prints of my artwork yet either. I moved to Newcastle 12 months later and received a lovely warm welcome to the market community in the Hunter Region.
If you’ve popped by my stall in the past few weeks, you may have noticed a sign that says I’m closing down… sorta!
I’m not shutting my business down completely, but I will soon be taking (another) step back from markets in the second half of 2026 for a few reasons. I will be:
- Studying a Diploma of Arts Therapy.
- Moving to Armidale, my husband Matt got headhunted by University of New England.
- Working on a personal project related to art therapy.
Once I settle in Armidale, I may start doing markets again, but in the meantime, I need to shift all my existing stock to recoup some cash. Everything will be 50% off until I move, or stock sells out, both at the markets and online. I will not be restocking anything until after my move to Armidale, sorry!
