For those of you who have bought a large matted or framed print from me at my market stall, firstly thank you! 🥰 Secondly, if I didn't have a paper bag big enough to put it in, my apologies! 🤦‍♀️

From now on large matted or framed prints will come with a handmade, reusable fabric bag, upcycled from sheets bought at op shops.* 💚

I've made a lot... because more framed prints will be available soon! 🖼️

I've been missing living in the bush and connecting with nature, so I went for a walk this morning to collect some leaves. 🍂

The area where I live is surrounded by wetlands, and there is an abundance of birdlife. 🦜 Wandering footpaths lined with precisely planted (thankfully native) trees, is not the same as walking on dirt tracks through the bush, but I'm grateful we don't live in the middle of town at least. 🌳

I got some odd looks from people, wondering what this weird person was doing stuffing her front hoodie pocket with fallen leaves. 🤔

A woman walking a dog stopped to warn me a large red belly black snake had been seen a couple days ago in a spot I was collecting. More snakes are seen around here than we ever saw living in the bush, I that's what happens when habitat is destroyed to make way for housing estates. 🐍

This morning's walk was much-needed, and the leaves will be used in an upcoming project. 🍂

Next time you go for a walk, pick up some leaves, appreciate the varied colours, and breathe. 🍃😌

On Sunday you can find me at stall 7B @madeandfound__ same spot as last month. 😊

I will have a stack of aprons marked down, I've changed the way I make straps, so slightly older stock with the old straps has to go!

ℂ𝕦𝕣𝕣𝕖𝕟𝕥 𝕤𝕥𝕠𝕔𝕜 - Full length patchwork aprons with cross-back tie. The cross-back makes this version adjustable and is, in my opinion anyway, far more comfortable. ❎

I've only managed to make two this week to restock, and I bet they sell in the first hour at this Sunday's @madeandfound__ market... unless they get snapped up directly today. 😊

I'm still debating whether I will sell patchwork aprons online, product photography is time consuming and they tend to sell within a few markets, turnover is high ... they may end up being market day exclusives, with the odd post for direct purchases when I feel like spending an arvo taking photos. 🤷‍♀️

I have heard the words "these aprons are too pretty to get dirty!" sooooo many times. But why? It's the same fabric as a plain drab apron just printed with lovely designs. Why not feel fab getting grubby by wearing something pretty?! 🌸

These will be available this Sunday at @madeandfound__ Redhead. 👍
